A chatbot answers messages from a script or a general-purpose LLM. Chatcast classifies the shopper's intent first, then routes to a deterministic skill — catalog search, attribute lookup, policy index, recommendations — so answers come from your store's actual data, not a model's general knowledge.

02Where do the answers come from?

From your live catalog, policies and FAQs. Chatcast ingests and structures your store data, and the assistant retrieves from it. The LLM phrases the answer; it doesn't get to invent the facts.

03Does it work with my Shopify theme?

Yes. The assistant installs as a Shopify app embed and renders as a widget on top of any theme — no theme rework or code changes required.
